Vice President, Fund Finance

A leading asset manager has an immediate opening for a Vice President on the Fund Finance team in New York. This is a unique opportunity to play a hands‑on role overseeing fund accounting, investor reporting, and operational initiatives across credit, hybrid, and venture platforms.

A New York–based alternative asset manager with over $2 billion in assets under management, focused on providing flexible credit and capital solutions to growing companies.

• Support the SVP in managing core fund finance functions, including fund accounting, operations, treasury, and investor reporting across all the company’s strategies.
• Manage the monthly and quarterly reporting process for limited partners, lenders, and internal stakeholders; review and coordinate deliverables from third‑party fund administrators to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across vehicles.
• Serve as a key point of contact with fund administrators, tax preparers, and auditors to facilitate timely close processes, annual financial statements, and tax filings.
• Work cross‑functionally to support fund cash activity, including capital call and distribution processes, bank covenant reporting, and liquidity planning.
• Contribute to enhancing internal workflows and implementing scalable reporting tools, templates, and control procedures that support firm growth and increased investor transparency.
• Partner with FP&A, IR, legal, and investment teams to support capital planning, portfolio‑level analytics, investor diligence, and broader firm initiatives.
• Maintain strong documentation, reconciliation practices, and compliance standards; support oversight of fund payables, wire transfers, and internal sign‑off protocols.
• Help oversee, mentor, and train senior associates and junior team members in the New York office, contributing to a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
