The Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for reviewing and processing mortgage loan applications. This role involves gathering, verifying, and analyzing financial and personal documentation from borrowers, ensuring compliance with regulatory and lender guidelines, and preparing files for underwriting. The processor acts as a liaison between loan officers, underwriters, and applicants to facilitate timely and accurate loan closings.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and verify borrower documentation
- Ensure loan files meet regulatory and investor requirements
- Communicate with clients, underwriters, and third parties to resolve issues
- Maintain accurate and organized loan files throughout the process
- Meet deadlines for loan submission, approval, and closing
