Regulatory Compliance Specialist
A Regulatory Strategy Lead – Derivatives & Swaps opportunity focused on U.S. derivatives regulation, with a strong emphasis on CFTC and NFA matters, including swaps and related products. This is a full‑time role where you would serve as a key regulatory advisor to the business, partnering closely with compliance, legal, risk, and front‑office teams.
The position is centered on regulatory strategy and advisory—providing guidance on CFTC and NFA rules, Commodity Exchange Act and Dodd‑Frank requirements, supporting regulatory filings and examinations, and advising on developments impacting swap dealers and derivatives markets. You would also help draft and enhance policies and procedures, assess regulatory risk, implement controls, and support responses to regulatory inquiries and exams. There is also exposure to cross‑border regulatory matters as they relate to swaps.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex regulatory issues in a fast‑paced financial services environment, with strong visibility across the organization.
Overview- Advise on CFTC/NFA regulatory matters across swaps, futures, and derivatives, including Dodd‑Frank and Commodity Exchange Act requirements
- Support regulatory filings, exams, and ongoing interactions with regulators
- Guide internal teams on regulatory developments impacting swap dealers and derivatives markets
- Draft and maintain derivatives compliance policies and procedures
- Partner with compliance and business teams to assess risk and implement controls
- Monitor regulatory changes and enforcement trends, communicating impacts to stakeholders
- Assist with regulatory inquiries, examinations, and cross‑border derivatives issues
