Hedge Fund Proprietary Research - Tech

Our client, a global investment firm with $30bn in Assets Under Management (AUM) is seeking a Proprietary Research Analyst to join its Global Technology investment team. The firm is known for its data-driven approach and a culture that prioritizes out of the box thinking. This role is designed for a specialist who can move beyond traditional financial modeling to uncover deep, primary-source insights into the technology landscape.

• Provide Portfolio Managers with an information advantage by bridging the gap between technical industry trends and actionable investment theses
• Perform exhaustive "deep dives" into specific tech verticals (e.g., AI infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and SaaS) to map out competitive moats and disruptive threats
• Build and maintain a proprietary network of industry practitioners, supply chain experts, and former executives to conduct real-time "channel checks"
• Synthetize findings into comprehensive reports, highlighting inflection points in the supply chain over time

• 2-5 years of experience of total work experience in Tech consulting or Tech corporate finance
• Excellent academic credentials, Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably within a finance, economics or mathematics discipline
• Experience in conducting research and due diligence, and producing "client ready" investment materials
• Strong quantitative aptitude with a high attention to detail
