Day-to-Day Responsibilities Capital Allocation & Return Analysis
  • Evaluate capital deployment opportunities across new investments, follow‑ons, add‑ons, refinancings, and exits
  • Analyze expected IRRs, MOICs, cash‑on‑cash returns, and payback profiles across competing uses of capital
  • Compare risk‑adjusted returns across investment alternatives to support capital prioritization
  • Build and maintain models to assess capital allocation scenarios at both deal and portfolio levels
  • Perform sensitivity, downside, and liquidity analyses to evaluate capital preservation and return trade‑offs
  • Analyze capital structure optimization, leverage levels, and refinancing opportunities
  • Support portfolio construction analysis, concentration limits, and diversification considerations
  • Track deployed vs. undeployed capital, reserves, and future funding obligations
  • Assist in evaluating timing decisions for exits, partial realizations, or redeployment of capital
Investment Committee & Decision Support
  • Prepare capital allocation materials, dashboards, and summaries for investment committee discussions
  • Synthesize financial and strategic insights into clear recommendations
  • Present data‑backed perspectives on trade‑offs between growth, risk, and liquidity
  • Monitor portfolio performance relative to underwriting assumptions
  • Support return attribution analysis and performance benchmarking
  • Assist with post‑investment reviews to inform future capital allocation decisions

Education & Technical Skills

Experience (Formal or Informal)
  • Prior internships or experience in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, corporate development, strategy, or corporate finance is beneficial
