Middle Office Specialist

Middle Office team member within its operations department. This team provides investment operational support to various Funds and Separately Managed Accounts. Functional responsibilities will include oversight of end-to-end operational support functions (including but not limited to Trade Support, Collateral Management and Asset Servicing functions), working with client onboarding, and project management.

The environment is fast-paced and multi-faceted, suitable only for candidates with the ability to work efficiently through multiple initiatives with a collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit.

• Responsible for daily oversight for operational functions surrounding the life cycle of a trade including trade processing, matching and allocations, security settlements, swap settlements and margin and collateral.
• Daily communication with External Managers, Prime Brokers and other trading/settlement vendors.
• Monitor launch pipeline to ensure operational readiness and timely funding on launch dates
• Counter party Relationship Management
• Ad-Hoc Reporting

• Undergraduate Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience
• Product knowledge exposure:
• Equity/Options (listed and otc)
• Credit and Rate Derivatives
• Futures and FX
• Cash Fixed Income
• Experience in process improvements
• Experience with PMS/ OMS Systems (Eze, Broadridge, Enfusion) and Trade Matching/Allocation platforms (CTM, Markitwire, Trade Serv) a plus

• Must be able to work under pressure with competing tight deadlines
• Critical thinker with strong quantitative, qualitative, and analytical skills who express their thoughts and ideas clearly both in oral and written communications
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Must be comfortable communicating with traders and portfolio managers
