Staff Accountant

We’re seeking a Staff Accountant to join a growing New York-based real estate capital management firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional early in their career to gain hands‑on exposure to both management company and fund‑level accounting within a dynamic private investment platform. The role offers strong visibility across finance, asset management, originations, and compliance, making it ideal for someone looking to build a long‑term career in real estate private credit.

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including monthly interest calculations and borrower invoicing
• Track and record interest collections and maintain construction loan draw schedules
• Serve as primary contact for borrower inquiries related to interest billing
• Support treasury operations including wire processing, cash monitoring, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare weekly and month‑end cash reports and analyze daily cash positions
• Record monthly accruals and recurring journal entries for management entities and investment funds
• Assist with month‑end close and quarterly financial statement preparation for smaller private

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 1+ years of financial service accounting experience (public or private experience considered)
• Experience with accounting systems;
  Yardi a plus
