About the Opportunity

Lower middle‑market private equity firms, growth equity investors, credit funds, and other buy‑side investment platforms within our network may seek analytically strong Transaction Modeling Analysts to support live deal execution and investment underwriting
.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Transaction Modeling & Underwriting
  • Build and maintain deal‑level transaction models, including LBOs, merger models, and credit structures
  • Analyze returns, capital structures, leverage profiles, and downside scenarios
  • Perform sensitivity analyses, scenario modeling, and stress testing
  • Evaluate transaction economics across multiple structuring alternatives
Valuation & Deal Economics
  • Perform valuation analyses using comparable companies, precedent transactions, and intrinsic valuation methodologies
  • Assess purchase price assumptions, financing terms, and exit scenarios
  • Support investment return projections and risk assessments
  • Support financial diligence by analyzing historical financials, KPIs, and cash flow dynamics
  • Partner with internal teams and external advisors during live transactions
  • Identify key risks, assumptions, and value drivers embedded in transaction models
Investment Committee Support
  • Prepare transaction model outputs, exhibits, and summaries for investment committee materials
  • Clearly communicate model insights, sensitivities, and conclusions
  • Respond to ad‑hoc analytical requests from senior investment professionals
  • Update transaction models post‑close to reflect actual performance
  • Support refinancing, recapitalization, add‑on acquisition, and exit modeling
  • Assist with ongoing return and valuation analysis for portfolio investments
