The VC Investment Analyst supports venture capital investment teams by evaluating new investment opportunities, conducting market and company analysis, supporting diligence, and assisting with portfolio monitoring. This role is investment-centric, with exposure to deal sourcing, underwriting, investment committee preparation, and portfolio analysis

Analysts collaborate closely with senior investors, founders, and operators while developing core skills in early-stage investing, financial analysis, and venture decision-making
.

• Source and screen potential investment opportunities across early-stage and growth-stage companies
• Conduct introductory founder calls and prepare investment summaries
• Market sizing and competitive landscape analysis
• Business model evaluation and unit economics
• Product, technology, and traction assessment
• Financial review and assumption analysis
  
  Build and maintain financial models for early-stage and growth companies
• Assist in preparing investment memos and materials for investment committee discussions
• Contribute to sector research, market mapping, and investment thesis development
• Track portfolio company KPIs and assist with performance monitoring and reporting
• Support fundraising efforts, LP updates, and internal reporting processes
• Stay informed on emerging technologies, startup trends, and venture market dynamics

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, data, or another analytical discipline
• Demonstrated interest in venture capital, startups, and technology-driven businesses
• Prior experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, private equity, startups, product management, or relevant internships is beneficial
• Strong analytical, modeling, and research skills
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities
• High intellectual curiosity and comfort engaging with founders and investors
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
