Financial Controller @ Boutique Private Equity Firm

A Boutique High-Growth Private Equity Firm is looking to hire a Controller/Assistant Controller, this role will report to CFO working with their Fund Finance, Tax, and IR Teams.

Will be responsible for management company reporting, portfolio company reporting and metrics, treasury, insurance and other duties. This professional will be instrumental in the growth of the firms financial operations. Lead and drive financial cycle, including but not limited to General ledger, Month-end and year-end and various accounting statements along with budgeting and forecasting financial reports.

• Manage and lead timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities
• Create and preparation of Financial Reports including journal entries, Micro P&L's
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Maintain daily banking requirements
• Expense report processing
• Bank reconciliations and intercompany accounts
• Prepare and maintain supporting spreadsheets and documentations
• Ensure that the general ledger activity is accurate and complete
• Work with external CPA Firm

• 10+ years of Accounting experience including Financial Statements, Balance Sheet, Income Statement
• Must have bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master's and CPA a plus
• Strong in GAAP
• Management of Team
• ERP Software:
  Netsuite, Sage, or Dynamics
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently most of the time
• MS Office proficiency--especially with Excel
• Problem solver with attention to detail

Our client is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary and discretionary performance bonus, including benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is 205, plus bonus.
