Equity Support – Leading Hedge Fund

We are partnering with a leading multi-manager hedge fund seeking an experienced Equity Support professional to join their Operations team. This individual will sit in a high-impact, PM-facing role supporting active equities trading desks in a fast-paced environment.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic trading setting, has strong ownership over the trade lifecycle, and is comfortable interacting directly with Portfolio Managers, traders, and external counter parties.

• Provide day-to-day trade support for equities trading desks, including trade matching, allocations, and break resolution
• Perform daily trade, cash, and position reconciliations (T+0 / T+1) and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner
• Oversee settlement, financing, and collateral processes
• Partner closely with PMs, traders, prime brokers, and custodians to resolve time-sensitive issues
• Monitor intraday trading activity to ensure accurate trade capture
• Maintain strong operational controls and elevate exceptions as needed
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve automation

• 3+ years of experience in equity trade support, middle office, or hedge fund operations
• Strong understanding of the full trade lifecycle, settlement mechanics, and reconciliation processes
• Experience working directly with trading desks and external counter parties
• Advanced Excel skills; exposure to automation tools such as Python and VBA
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage risk and prioritize in a fast-moving environment
