Location: New York

We're looking for a highly analytical Compliance Officer - Quant Trading to support day‑to‑day compliance operations with a strong focus on data analysis, trade review, and supporting quantitative and algorithmic trading workflows. This role is hands‑on with trading data, spreadsheets, and internal system outputs and is ideal for someone who enjoys working deeply with numbers, logic, and process improvement.

Responsibilities Data & Trade Analysis
  • Review daily trading data and spreadsheets to identify patterns, exceptions, or anomalies.
  • Perform complex position and exposure calculations to support compliance checks.
  • Analyze outputs from internal trading and risk systems to validate accuracy and consistency.
Quant & Electronic Trading Compliance
  • Monitor quantitative and algorithmic trading activity for adherence to internal policies.
  • Escalate unusual or high‑risk behaviors and assist in refining automated trading controls.
Operational Compliance Support
  • Support trade review workflows, exception handling, and documentation updates.
  • Collaborate with technology, operations, and trading teams on data quality and process enhancements.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in compliance, trading operations, trading surveillance, or a data‑focused financial role.
  • Exposure to quantitative, electronic, or algorithmic trading environments.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large data sets, system outputs, and trading logic.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data manipulation).
  • SQL, Python, or comparable data‑analysis tools experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
