OpportunityTax Technology and Transformation provides services to help companies address the challenges posed by emerging technologies, increasing data burden, and to enhance efficiency and transform tax functions into cost‑effective operations. The aim is to assist businesses in navigating the digital landscape of tax transparency, compliance, and audit methods.

Additional services include program mobilization, custom development, strategy road mapping, implementation of direct and indirect tax systems, post‑transaction operational services, and tax function assessments. Implementing a transaction tax calculation engine is crucial for automating tax determination and compliance across transactional systems, ERP applications, and custom solutions.
YourKey Responsibilities
Help client tax departments operate at peak efficiency and productivity, positioning them to take advantage of tax saving opportunities.
Transfer control of tax decision‑making from transaction processing personnel and outside vendors to the client’s tax specialists.
Define solutions, coordinate technical resources, and deliver finished products that fulfill client goals and tax requirements.
- Document and review current state tax processes and controls to identify enhancement opportunities
- Support development of a business case to justify tax process enhancement solutions
- Provide support during indirect tax software/vendor selection
- Document tax data requirements
- Implement automated indirect tax calculation and compliance solutions
- Improve reporting capabilities to enhance risk evaluation and opportunity capitalization
- Support project team members to ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Bachelor’s degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience; or master’s degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience.
- Undergraduate emphasis in accounting and approximately 4 years of indirect tax process improvement experience (or equivalent business/industry experience); or master’s degree and approximately 3 years of related experience preferred.
- Approved technical certification, CPA license, or membership to state Bar (or progress toward attaining those).
- Indirect tax (Sales/Use Tax, VAT) experience and/or corporate indirect tax compliance experience preferred.
- Excellent managerial, leadership, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Relevant experience in one or more of the following specialties: indirect tax software (Vertex, ONESOURCE, Avalara), tax data and reporting for ledger and consolidation systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, etc.), tax process and operational assessments.
- Willingness and ability to travel at least 50% of the time.

- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package; base salary range for all U.S. geographic locations $102,500–$187,900, New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) $122,900–$213,400. Individual salaries are determined by education, experience, skills and geography.
