Real Estate – Mortgage Finance Paralegal. Must be a detail-oriented professional, well-spoken/written, organized, willing to take initiative, customer-friendly, highly responsive to constant client updates, able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines, able to multitask, willing to travel within the 5 boroughs, Westchester, Nassau/ Suffolk. Ability to work on several mortgage finance files from loan inception throughout closing and post-closing with minimal supervision and a willingness to work overtime, if needed.
- Liaison with several major lenders to schedule closings with all interested parties; prepare final Closing Disclosures (CDs); prepare final closing packages and return post-closing documents in a timely manner.
- Prepare and review CEMA documents and Exhibit A Schedule of Mortgages.
- Review title reports and lien searches to identify and clear any open title issues.
- Review and approve all underlying documents and assignments in connection with CEMA closings.
- Attend bank closings on real property and coop purchases, as well as real property and coop refinances.
- Work on all post-closing matters, including refinance fundings.
- Prepare and file coop UCC1s, UCC3s, and Aztech Agreements.
- Assist on Coop Transfer files and attend closings.
- New York State Notary Public License (within 60 days of hire)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Pro
