About the RoleWe’re hiring a Senior Accountant to strengthen core accounting operations and help upgrade both fiat and crypto accounting capabilities. You’ll work across multiple entities/jurisdictions, collaborate with external accounting/tax partners, and play a key role in bringing more accounting ownership in‑house. This is a high‑impact role in a fast‑moving, rapidly growing environment.
What You’ll Do- Support and eventually own monthly close across entities
- Prepare GAAP financial statements and supporting schedules
- Own bank/payment rail reconciliations
- Improve AP categorization, accruals, and variance analysis
- Strengthen internal processes across CEX trading, DeFi activity, stablecoin/fiat flows
- Improve P&L treatment, valuation, cost basis, and pricing
- Partner with engineering/trading to enhance tooling and reduce manual work
- Provide clean books, schedules, and reconciliations to tax partners
- Maintain strong documentation for tax/audit readiness
- Work with external accountants while progressively in sourcing processes
- Build documentation, checklists, and month‑end workflows
- 5+ years in accounting, corporate finance, audit, or controllership
- Strong US GAAP, month‑end close, and financial statement experience
- Multi‑entity (US & non‑US) accounting experience
- Proficiency with modern accounting systems + strong spreadsheet skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving environment
- Some digital asset knowledge
CPA, audit experience, in‑house crypto accounting, familiarity with crypto accounting tools, experience improving controls/documentation.
