Position OverviewS3 Capital Partners seeks to hire a highly motivated, dynamic individual to join the company as a Sr. Investment Analyst. The Analyst’s primary responsibility will be to support the company's investment analysis, underwriting and due diligence processes, financial modeling and deal memorandum preparation, pipeline and portfolio management, and other investment and fund-related tasks. In this capacity, the new hire will work with the originations and investment teams and will have frequent interaction with management, strategic partners, and clients to gain an in-depth understanding of the business.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and analyze potential new investment opportunities
- Perform due diligence, market analyses, and other tasks related to new and existing investments
- Prepare financial models and deal memorandums
- Assist in the deal approval process via the firm’s investment committees
- Manage deal pipeline and lead the diligence and closing process of such transactions
- Maintain relationships with the firm’s strategic partners, clients, and investors
- Assist in the ongoing asset management of existing investments
- Assist with general tasks related to the operations of S3 investments and its fund vehicles
- 2‑4 years of real estate investment experience (credit, equity, real estate banking, brokerage/advisory, etc.)
- Strong financial modeling and presentation skills with superior Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and interpersonal abilities
- Sound understanding of real estate finance and general credit investing
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Sharp attention to detail and proven integrity
- Bachelor’s degree from in relevant field (finance, economics, mathematics, etc.) from a top university
