Associate Director – Industrials Americas

As a member of the Industrials Americas team, you will provide principal investment and advisory services to industrial companies in manufacturing and distribution with a focus on chemicals and materials subsector regarding acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and various capital raising activities.

• Provide investment advice to clients, including identifying and liaising with investment partners for principal, capital raising, and M&A transactions and leading management and coordination of transaction work streams, such as due diligence, negotiation, financing, and stakeholder approval processes in conjunction with clients and professional consultants.
• Manage and conduct commercial and financial analysis and modeling to analyze the impact of different capital structures and generate valuation analyses using different methodologies, including discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, and trading and transaction comparables.
• Design and lead production of detailed presentations, information memoranda and other analyses for internal and external audiences to support strategic decision-making.
• Drive origination of new transaction ideas for existing and new clients.

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field (Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance) and 7 years of experience in a related role or 7 years of investment banking and/or management consulting/financial advisory experience with a focus on industrials.
• In alternative, a Master’s degree in Economics or related field (Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance) and 5 years of experience in a related role or 5 years of investment banking and/or management consulting/financial advisory experience with a focus on industrials.
• Prior experience must include 5 years evaluating potential investment opportunities.
• 5 years performing valuation analysis and modeling utilizing various financial methodologies, such as discounted cash flow analysis, leveraged buyout analysis, and trading and transaction comparables analysis.
• 5 years executing investments across multiple industries and capital structures.
• 5 years preparing and presenting investment memos, including business, financial, and structuring analyses.

Salary range for this position: $290,000 to $360,000. Within this salary range the base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
