About the roleSecure is looking to hire an Analyst. The role will be responsible for supporting Asset Management and Acquisitions professionals on all stages of the deal life cycle including (but not limited to) financial analysis and reporting, data management, legal document review, managing deal pipeline, evaluation of potential transactions, performing due diligence, competitive analysis, and asset management of existing investments.
Responsibilities- Due diligence on prospective real estate investments as well as monitoring current investments
- Review source documents, including financial operating statements, insurance certificates, leases, etc.
- Perform credit analysis on potential tenants along with market research (sales comps, rent comps, sector trends)
- Build and update financial models
- Prepare investment summaries and memorandums
- Prepare marketing materials for senior management, investment partners and lenders
- Ensure transaction execution, including tracking closing checklist / diligence deliverables and review of legal documents
- Review asset’s operational and financial performance; prepare weekly and monthly asset management and deal performance updates
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, economics, real estate, or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Demonstrated interest in real estate industry
- Understanding of real estate fundamentals
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills, attention to detail
- Familiarity with real estate valuation, underwriting and/or accounting experience a plus, but not required
- Motivated self-starter with effective time management skills and strong attention to detail
- A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
