A hedge fund, multi-manager platform, or alternative asset manager may seek a Hedge Fund Operations Analyst to support day-to-day fund operations, trade lifecycle management, and operational controls. This role provides hands-on exposure to how hedge funds function behind the scenes and is well-suited for candidates interested in markets, fund mechanics, and operational risk management.

Support the full trade lifecycle, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation

Reconcile positions, cash, and P&L across internal systems, prime brokers, and fund administrators

Assist with daily NAV validation, performance reporting, and investor-level analytics

Coordinate with trading, portfolio management, risk, compliance, prime brokers, and administrators

Monitor corporate actions, financing activity, margin requirements, and cash movements

Help document and improve operational processes, controls, and reporting workflows

Support audits, regulatory requests, and investor due diligence inquiries

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage time-sensitive workflows

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with interest in hedge fund operations

Clear written and verbal communication abilities

Prior internship or experience in operations, fund administration, middle office, or financial services is beneficial

Proficiency in Excel; exposure to trade order management systems, accounting platforms, or reporting tools is a plus
