Associates work closely with senior bankers, venture investors, founders, and management teams to execute transactions, build financial models, prepare investor materials, and manage deal processes across the startup ecosystem.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport execution of venture capital financings, growth equity raises, and M&A transactions
Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuations, and scenario analyses
Prepare pitch decks, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), and investor presentations
Conduct company, market, and comparable transaction analysis
Assist with due diligence coordination, data room management, and investor outreach
Analyze cap tables, dilution scenarios, and ownership structures
Help manage deal timelines and support negotiations through closing
Track market trends in venture capital, technology, and startup exits
Ideal CandidateBachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, or a related analytical field
Strong interest in venture capital, startups, and transaction-driven finance
Prior experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, consulting, private equity, or venture capital is strongly preferred
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; familiarity with valuation methodologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, execution-focused, and comfortable working in fast-paced deal environments
Professional demeanor when interacting with founders, investors, and senior stakeholders
