VP of Finance; Fractional

We are seeking a senior financial professional to enhance our finance operations and support our strategic goals amidst significant upcoming projects.

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the finance function, working closely under the CFO.
• Elevate financial analyses to align with the expectations of senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reports and the execution of planning cycles.
• Foster the development of analyses to meet evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with existing staff to boost their proficiency and capacity in delivering high-quality financial insights.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to bridge gaps between preliminary and final budgets.
• Optimize use of core systems, including Salesforce and Sage Intacct, to streamline financial processes.

• 10 to 15 years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance, particularly within the media, business intelligence, or events sectors.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to guide a team and perform complex data pivots.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions—ability to independently build complex financial models.
• Experience in a PE-backed portfolio company beneficial.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and remote-friendly environment.
• Demonstrated capability to drive financial insights effectively to senior executives and boards.
• Familiarity with working in a lean team setup; ability to roll up sleeves and engage directly with both strategic and operational tasks.
