Fund Launch Analysts support the end-to-end process of launching new investment funds, working across investment, operations, legal, compliance, and external service providers. The role blends project management, fund operations, and regulatory awareness to ensure funds are operationally ready for capital raising and investor onboarding.
These roles involve close collaboration with portfolio managers, fund operations teams, legal counsel, compliance, administrators, custodians, and prime brokers.
Key Responsibilities- Support the planning and execution of new fund launches and investment vehicles
- Coordinate onboarding with fund administrators, custodians, prime brokers, banks, and other service providers
- Assist with fund structuring, documentation, and operational setup processes
- Track and manage launch timelines, task lists, and deliverables across stakeholders
- Support account openings, system configurations, and data integrations
- Assist with initial NAV setup, capital activity workflows, and reporting frameworks
- Prepare internal launch materials, approvals, and status updates for senior stakeholders
- Identify launch risks, delays, or operational gaps and elevate as needed
- Support post-launch stabilization and transition to ongoing fund operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Strong understanding of investment fund structures and asset management operations
- Experience or coursework in fund operations, administration, or accounting is a plus
- Strong organizational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with fund administration platforms is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple work streams and deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interest in fund launches, investment operations, and asset management infrastructure
