Private Credit Associate​/Senior Associate

An established and expanding credit alternatives platform is seeking a Private Credit Associate or Senior Associate to join its lean, high‑performing team. The firm focuses on providing flexible capital solutions and value‑add support to family‑owned and sponsor‑backed middle‑market businesses, while delivering attractive risk‑adjusted returns to investors.

You ll take on a broad set of responsibilities across origination, underwriting, deal execution, and portfolio support‑far beyond what is typical at most private credit platforms.

• Conduct financial and business due diligence on prospective borrowers
• Build and analyze detailed financial models (including LBO and cash‑flow models)
• Prepare comprehensive investment memoranda for credit committee approval
• Support the end‑to‑end execution of new investments, from initial diligence through closing

• Help source and identify new private credit opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, intermediaries, and business owners

• Review and negotiate term sheets and credit agreements
• Coordinate closely with internal and external counsel throughout the documentation process

• Bachelor s degree with strong academic performance
• 2-5+ years of relevant experience (investment banking or principal investing preferred)
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills (LBO, operating models, cash‑flow modeling)
• Strong analytical writing, communication, and project management abilities
