Private Credit Sr. Associate​/Vice President - Specialty Finance

A leading, institutionally backed alternative asset manager is seeking to hire a Senior Associate or Vice President to join its Specialty Finance Private Credit investment team in New York
. The firm manages multi-billion-dollar AUM and is an established provider of capital solutions across asset-backed and specialty finance platforms.

This role offers direct exposure to complex, credit investments and meaningful responsibility across underwriting, structuring, execution, and portfolio management.

The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating, structuring, and executing specialty finance investments, working closely with senior investment professionals and counter parties. The platform focuses on asset-backed credit, forward flow agreements, structured financings, and bespoke capital solutions across consumer, commercial, and niche finance verticals.

• 2+ years of experience in private credit, specialty finance, asset-backed lending, structured credit, or leveraged finance
• Strong modeling and structuring capabilities, including cash flow and collateral analysis
• Experience negotiating documentation and working through transaction execution
• High level of intellectual rigor, commercial judgment, and ownership mentality
• Prior exposure to asset-backed or specialty finance investments strongly preferred

• Lead detailed underwriting and financial analysis of specialty finance platforms and asset pools
• Structure and negotiate credit facilities, forward flow arrangements, and asset-backed transactions
• Build and manage complex financial models assessing collateral performance, cash flows, and downside scenarios
• Conduct diligence on originators, servicers, and counter parties
• Draft investment memoranda and present recommendations to internal investment committees
• Monitor portfolio performance, covenant compliance, and credit metrics
• Interface directly with management teams, sponsors, advisors, and legal counsel
