We are partnered with a private equity firm that has a focus on secondary investments in lower and middle market firms. The company was founded 10 years ago, has an AUM of around $2b and is expected to rapidly grow in the coming months.
The New York office is looking for a Capital Formation Associate to join their growing team. This position will provide aspects of fundraising, investor outreach, due diligence, and business development. Because of the lean team structure, this candidate will have the opportunity to wear many different hats.
Responsibilities- Preparing marketing materials such as DDQs, PPMs, and investor presentations
- Communicating with investors about fund performance and investment activity
- Working with the Head of Capital Formation and additional partners
- Updating the investor CRM system (Deal Cloud)
- 2-5 years of experience in investor relations or investor services, preferably in private equity, investment management, or secondaries
- Financial modeling experience
- Ability to work on a variety of tasks at once and stay organized
