Portfolio Associate - RELO TO Charlotte

Our client is a leading global credit investment firm seeking to hire a high-caliber Portfolio Associate to join its rapidly growing Private Credit team in Charlotte, NC. This is a high-visibility opportunity to work closely with senior investors and gain broad exposure across the full private credit investment lifecycle.

• Monitor and analyze a large, diversified portfolio of private credit investments
• Review borrower financial statements, operating metrics, and compliance reporting
• Build, maintain, and enhance portfolio reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics
• Track investment performance, covenant compliance, and key credit metrics
• Prepare internal materials for senior management, investment committees, and client reporting
• Partner cross-functionally with investment, risk, legal, and operations teams to support portfolio management initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree (required); strong academic performance preferred
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private credit, leveraged finance, structured credit, or asset management
• Solid foundation in financial accounting, financial analysis, and credit fundamentals
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
