Our client, a leading global real estate private equity firm in Midtown, Manhattan is looking for an Investment Analyst to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 yrs. of financial services experience and a strong understanding of real estate investments.

• Evaluating and reporting on the financial performance of active investments
• Partnering closely with senior leadership and portfolio managers to shape investment theses and support valuation processes
• Assisting in the analysis of prospective financings, acquisitions, and asset dispositions
• Gaining a detailed understanding of property-level operations, including leasing trends, budgeting cycles, financial reforecasts, and distribution structures
• Building comprehensive financial models and conducting sensitivity analyses
• Taking ownership of ad hoc assignments that contribute to broader investment decisions
• Participating in site visits and market tours to support due diligence and asset monitoring

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, or a similar financial environment, ideally with hands‑on involvement in deal execution, financial modeling, or investment analysis
• A strong academic foundation with a degree from a top‑tier university, preferably in finance, economics, or real estate
• Proficiency in Excel with the ability to build and manipulate complex models; experience with tools like Argus or other real estate analysis platforms is a plus
• A demonstrated passion for real estate and investment strategy, supported by prior internships, academic projects, or relevant roles
• Willingness to commit to a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment that may include extended hours and travel (as safety regulations allow)
• A self‑starter mindset, capable of thriving in both independent and collaborative settings—including virtual and in‑office team structures
