Treasury & Portfolio Financing Associate (Associate/VP Level) – New York

This role sits within the Treasury & Portfolio Finance team, which manages financing, margin, liquidity, collateral, FX hedging, and counter party relationships across a multi-asset derivatives platform. The position offers broad exposure to asset classes including equities, fixed income, FX, commodities, and credit, and combines elements of trading, analytics, technology, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Build and implement financing optimization models to improve margin efficiency and funding costs
• Execute financing and related trades across equities, derivatives, futures, options, rates, repo, and FX
• Provide portfolio managers with pricing, margin, and financing market insights
• Monitor funding markets, counter party exposure, and Treasury P&L through analytics and reporting
• Help manage cash, collateral, and liquidity to optimize balance sheet usage
• Strengthen relationships with banks, prime brokers, and trading counter parties
• Partner with Operations, Middle Office, and Technology teams to streamline workflows and enhance systems
• Stay current on market structure, risk tools, and emerging technologies
• Support and provide backup coverage for core Treasury trading strategies

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
• 5–7 years of experience in financing, securities lending, or funding markets at a bank or asset manager
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency and precision
• Advanced Excel, VBA, and SQL skills; programming experience (e.g., Python or C#) is a plus
