Position Title

Risk & Control Analyst

A global financial institution is looking for a Risk and Control Analyst at their organization. The position requires a person to commute to NYC office Hybrid.

• Coordinate and execute Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA)
• Conduct Vendor Risk Assessments, Model Risk Assessments, and Business Continuity–related evaluations
• Analyze risk data to identify trends and areas requiring attention
• Perform deep dives to evaluate control design and operational effectiveness
• Challenge risk assumptions during scenario analysis
• Maintain risk registers
• Support risk evaluation within the New Product Approval process
• Research relevant regulatory updates and industry risk trends
• Contribute to operational risk initiatives and projects
• Support risk awareness and training sessions across the organization
• Prepare operational risk reports and materials for management
• Provide independent analysis and challenge on key risk indicators and major operational risks

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 4–5 years of operational risk experience within a financial institution
• Strong analytical thinking and foundational risk management knowledge
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Flexibility and skill in balancing shifting priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
