Private Equity Associate - TMT

We are partnering with a leading middle market private equity firm to hire a Private Equity Associate to join its investment team in New York. The firm specializes in control-oriented investments across the TMT sector, with a strong track record of partnering with management teams to scale high-quality platforms across software, digital infrastructure, communications, and tech-enabled services.

• Evaluate new investment opportunities across technology, software, digital infrastructure, media, and telecommunications sectors
• Build and maintain detailed LBO, operating, and valuation models
• Conduct commercial, financial, and strategic due diligence
• Support transaction execution from initial screening through closing
• Work closely with senior investors and management teams during diligence and post-close
• Assist with portfolio company monitoring, strategic initiatives, and add-on acquisitions
• Prepare investment committee materials and internal memoranda

• 1–2 years of investment banking experience from a top-tier or strong middle market platform
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skill set
• Exposure to technology, software, digital infrastructure, media, or telecommunications sectors is preferred but not required
• High attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Clear communicator with professional presence
