Position: Client & Shareholder Services Associate (Asset Management)
Location: New York

Our client is a prominent, well respected Midtown NYC Alternative Asset Management firm currently seeking to add a talented Associate to their growing Client & Shareholder Services team. Ideal candidate must be self-motivated, with superior verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to work with institutional investors and handle complex investor based projects.

Responsibilities
  • This role will be responsible for continuously enhancing the vision for client operations process to reflect evolving needs of firm clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders by providing clear, timely, and transparent communications.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor analysis, and market conditions.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, press releases, and other materials for investor meetings, conferences, and earnings calls.
  • Lead the maintenance of investor interactions, CRM tracking investor interactions, as well as updating the public IR website.
  • Partner with Head of Dept with regards organizing roadshows, conferences, client meetings and client update calls
  • Coordinate investor events such as earnings calls, non-deal roadshows, and calls with key investors
  • Manage and track the investor (CRM) database and all inbound investor requests
  • Profile client base and prepare a strategic investor plan
  • Review client quarterly reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • In charge of investor communication for annual and quarterly reporting of fund track records
  • Provide various ad hoc data research and analysis as needed.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2+ years of Financial Services/Private Equity Accounting/Finance or similar
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Modeling Formulas
  • FINRA Series 7/66 strongly preferred
  • Technical knowledge, data analytics using CRMs (Salesforce), Excel, Power Point
  • Outstanding communication skills, proven ability to effectively work with all levels of Management
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dead-line driven dynamic environment
