Aboutthe Role
Brookfield is recruiting for a Manager, Treasury in our New York office. The role represents an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic team. Reporting to the Vice President, Capital Markets & Treasury, the role is part of a collaborative team of professionals focused on capital markets and treasury activities and growth initiatives for Brookfield’s Renewable and Infrastructure businesses. The Manager will work closely with the team responsible for executing project financings, acquisition financings and advising on strategic initiatives aimed at achieving long‑term growth objectives.
The Manager will interface with members of the senior management team, portfolio company management and important outside service providers (banks, lenders, accounting and legal advisors).
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily cash management, positioning, and accounts payable execution.
- Manage any interest rate exposure through market monitoring and hedge execution.
- Lead the development of monthly flow of funds process with respect to monthly distributions.
- Oversee the review and update of operating cash forecasts.
- Maintain productive banking relationships with various bank stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with debt obligations and with internal policies and procedures in day‑to‑day cash management activities.
- Contribute to a flexible, dynamic, and team‑oriented working culture that fosters personal development and a positive attitude.
- Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
- 5+ years of previous experience in treasury.
- Fluency in financial modeling and familiarity with tax equity and debt structures.
- Existing relationships with financial institutions considered an asset.
- Strong leadership skills, including a strong sense of personal ownership, commitment, and accountability.
- High level of proficiency in Excel and Power Point and strong financial modeling skills.
- Well organized and ability to synthesize and conceptualize complex ideas.
- Solid analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Able to meet multiple objectives in a dynamic, fast‑paced, team environment.
