Loan Officer

Overview

Mortgage World Bankers, a Division of Ponce Bank is hiring remote and hybrid Mortgage Loan Originators in New York and New Jersey. You will be responsible for proactively identifying, developing and maintaining a quality network of business relationships that serves as a source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities.

• Deliver world class customer service
• Achieve sales and referral goals
• Develop and expand customer relationships in order to contribute towards the teams and your individual success

• Experience in residential mortgage sales
• Two plus years of retail residential mortgage sales experience
• Documented residential mortgage loan volume in the past 12 months of $12 million (minimum)
• Established relationships with local referral partners
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a variety of audiences
• Mortgage Loan Originator must meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including successful completion of the required background checks and have an active NMLS license
• Multilingual a plus

• Estimated annual earnings range from $50,000 to $120,000, depending on experience and performance. This position offers a base draw against commissions, meaning a fixed amount is paid regularly and reconciled against earned commissions.
• Base Draw: A regular advance paid to provide income stability while commissions accrue.
• Commission:
  Earned based on loan volume and performance metrics.
• Total Compensation:
  Includes base draw plus commissions; high performers may exceed the top of the stated range.
