Data Analyst
The Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst in collaboration with Finance and Information Technology is responsible for the implementation and support for Axiom based reporting solutions across multiple regulators such Federal Reserve Bank and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
- Lead end to end execution of Finance regulatory reporting (e.g., FFIEC 0002, FOCUS) initiatives, including regulatory updates and systems integration.
- Work closely with Finance Regulatory Reporting and Information Technology teams to gather, interpret and translate regulatory requirements for Axiom based solutions.
- Prepare Business Requirements Document and functional specifications in line with general specifications and requirements provided by data owners.
- Work with data owners and Information Technology to source and validate required data.
- Develop regulatory reporting test strategy, conduct User Acceptance Testing and timely execution.
- Maintain and develop regulatory reporting data lineage mapping, and reporting logic.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, system engineering or related field from an accredited college/university.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficient knowledge of US regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., FFIEC 002, FR Y 7N, FR Y 7Q, FOCUS Report).
- Ability to translate business needs into regulatory reporting functional and non-functional specifications tailored for Axiom.
- Strong knowledge of external reporting control concepts, and financial services related products (e.g., Loans, Securities, Deposits, Derivatives).
- Proficient with Axiom SL.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent technical project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and understand technical work and meet deadlines for multiple technology projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent analytical and presentation skills; ability to synthesize complex data into actionable presentations / reports and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical clients.
- More than 7 years’ experience in the financial services industry in technical team management positions and in the Regulatory Reporting domain in particular.
- Drive and a proven ability to meet deadlines while dealing with changing and competing priorities.
- Resilience, with the ability to cope with difficult situations and to handle and resolve issues to the benefit of all stakeholders.
- Flexibility, with a positive approach to change.
The salary range for this position will be between $170,000 - $190,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance
