CPA Firm seeking a Tax Manager for its Family Office Group
Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Supervise, direct a team members performing duties for the client.
- Review income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, foundations, not-for-profit organizations.
- Accounting for small businesses, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and period-end adjustments (cash/accrual)
- Prepare or review and analyze financial statements (both cash and accrual basis)
- Prepare or review and analyze business plans, forecasts, projections and budgets
- Independently manage client relationships, including tax planning, estate planning, and risk management. Role includes extensive interaction with clients via phone, email, and meetings.
- Complete special client projects of a complex nature.
Requirements:
- CPA
- 5 years experience in a Family Office Group
- Strong tax knowledge, an understanding of estate planning, and personal financial planning experience is a plus
- Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements
