Fund Launch Specialists play a critical role in bringing new investment funds to market. They coordinate across investment, legal, compliance, operations, and external service providers to ensure successful fund formation, onboarding, and launch execution.

The role blends project management, financial and operational knowledge, regulatory awareness, and cross-functional communication. Fund Launch Specialists often work closely with portfolio managers, legal counsel, compliance teams, fund administrators, prime brokers, and internal operations teams during pre-launch and post-launch phases.

• Manage end-to-end fund launch processes, from initial planning through post-launch stabilization
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers (legal, compliance, administrators, auditors, prime brokers, custodians)
• Support fund structuring, documentation, and onboarding workflows
• Assist with regulatory filings, compliance requirements, and operational setup
• Develop and maintain detailed launch timelines, checklists, and project plans
• Ensure operational readiness across trading, accounting, reporting, and investor servicing functions
• Support data setup, systems integration, and process testing prior to launch
• Track launch milestones, identify risks or delays, and proactively resolve issues
• Prepare status updates, launch summaries, and post-launch reviews for senior management
• Assist with enhancements to fund launch processes and best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Strong understanding of investment fund structures and asset management operations
• Experience or exposure to fund launches, fund operations, compliance, or financial services project management (preferred but not required)
• Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple work streams and deadlines simultaneously
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with fund accounting systems, reporting tools, or workflow software is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
  Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• High level of professionalism and comfort working with senior stakeholders
• Strong interest in asset management, fund operations, and investment products
