A leading middle-market or bulge-bracket investment bank may seek an Investment Banking Coverage Analyst to support a dedicated industry group. These roles are well-suited for candidates seeking deep sector expertise, client exposure, and involvement across origination and execution activities.

Build and maintain financial models, including 3-statement, DCF, LBO, and accretion/dilution analyses

Conduct in-depth industry, market, and company research within a specific sector

Support live M&A, equity, debt, and restructuring transactions for coverage clients

Prepare pitch books, management presentations, investment memoranda, and client updates

Assist with due diligence, data room coordination, and transaction execution

Maintain client materials, market updates, and valuation databases

Collaborate closely with senior bankers on client strategy, origination, and relationship management

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field

Strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques

Solid understanding of investment banking and corporate finance fundamentals

Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple client and deal work streams in a fast-paced environment

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Prior internship or full-time experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, audit, or FP&A is a plus

Proficiency in Excel, Power Point , and financial research platforms
