AVP Senior Credit Operations

Compensation: 150-225k TOTAL COMPENSATION (depending on level of hire)

Overview:

A leading investment manager is seeking a Securitized Products Operations Analyst to support its U.S.–based Portfolio Managers across CLO, MBS/ABS, and Agency/TBA strategies. This hire will sit within a high-visibility team working closely with PMs, traders, fund administrators, and counter parties to ensure accurate trade support, lifecycle management, and P&L oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Support & Lifecycle Management

• Support securitized debt trading desks across CLO, MBS, ABS, and Agency/TBA products.
• Perform end-to-end trade capture and processing across all securitized products.
• Review and validate trades with executing brokers and prime brokers; oversee fails management.

Security & Data Oversight

• Create and review security setups to ensure accuracy across downstream systems.
• Reconcile key data points including factors, coupons, accruals, positions, and cash activity.
• Review principal and interest payments and resolve breaks across custodians, PBs, and fund administrators.

P&L, Reporting & Risk

• Prepare daily and monthly P&L within portfolio management and front-office risk platforms.
• Understand portfolio P&L drivers and maintain alignment with the general ledger.
• Manage asset servicing events such as factor paydowns, coupon payments, and TBA pair-offs.

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Work directly with PMs and traders on ad-hoc research, trade inquiries, and data requests.
• Collaborate with operations, fund accounting, technology, and external counter parties.

Candidate Profile

• 3–8 years of experience in securitized products operations, middle office, or trade support.
• Strong product knowledge across structured products (CLO/MBS/ABS)
• Exposure to derivatives or credit products is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with trade capture systems, PMS platforms, and reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to operate in a fast-paced trading environment.
