About the roleAs a Finance team member, you will help develop and shape Flex’s business and financial strategy. You will join the Strategic Finance team, which owns predictability, maximizes ROI, and connects internal operations with external perspectives and key strategic decisioning. You will work with cross-functional teams to bring business model expertise, financial prowess, and analytical power to strategic guidance and problem solving.
This is a hybrid position with on-site expectations of 3 days per week in our New York Headquarters. For candidates outside the NY/NJ area, relocation assistance may be available.
What you’ll do- Operate as a thinker and doer across teams, supporting strategic alignment, financial modeling, and data analysis
- Develop frameworks and processes to optimize resource allocation decisions
- Create and operate financial forecasting tools and operating models, partnering with the Strategic Finance team to maximize predictability
- Support the creation of metrics, reporting, forecasting, and performance targets to ensure alignment between strategy, data, and measurement
- Help build a sophisticated understanding of unit economics to drive high ROI decision making
- Lead research and data analysis to support problem-solving across functional areas
- Deliver and maintain insightful reporting on KPIs, growth trends, and operational metrics to internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate clearly to influence decision-making within groups and leadership
- Demonstrate financial modeling proficiency and a deep understanding of fintech/financial services business models
- 5+ years of strategic finance, FP&A, biz ops, consulting, or investment banking experience
- Direct experience with operations or strategy at a high-growth tech company is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with complex data analysis
- Excellent communication and collaboration across all levels of an organization
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with databases, SQL, and BI tools is a plus
The compensation range for this role will be commensurate with experience and Flex’s leveling guidelines. Specific ranges vary by location.
