A leading middle-market or bulge-bracket investment bank may seek a Consumer & Retail Banking Analyst to support transactions, financial modeling, research, and client deliverables within consumer and retail industries. These roles are ideal for candidates looking to combine analytical rigor with exposure to M&A, capital markets, and strategic advisory for consumer products, retail chains, e-commerce, and FMCG companies.

Build and maintain financial models (3-statement, DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution) for consumer and retail companies

Conduct market research, benchmarking, and valuation analyses for retail, e-commerce, consumer goods, and services companies

Support live M&A, capital markets, and financing engagements within the consumer and retail sectors

Prepare pitch books, investor presentations, and client-facing memoranda focused on consumer and retail opportunities

Assist with due diligence, data room management, and transaction execution for consumer and retail deals

Collaborate with senior bankers and sector specialists on consumer and retail client strategy and deal execution

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques

Knowledge of consumer and retail industry trends, business models, and market dynamics is a plus

Excellent quantitative, research, and communication abilities

Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Prior internship or full-time experience in finance, investment banking, consumer/retail corporate finance, or consulting is beneficial
