Investment Banking Associate

An elite boutique investment bank is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join its Financial Institutions Group. The team advises clients across the wealth management, asset management, and insurance sectors on a wide range of strategic and transaction-driven assignments, including mergers & acquisitions, capital raises, and strategic advisory.

This is an opportunity to join a high-performing, collaborative team with strong deal flow and direct exposure to senior bankers and clients.

• Execute M&A and strategic advisory transactions within the FIG sector
• Build and manage detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials
• Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and marketing documents
• Support due diligence, transaction structuring, and execution processes
• Conduct industry and company research across wealth, asset management, and insurance verticals
• Coordinate with senior bankers, clients, legal counsel, and other advisors throughout live transactions

• 2-4 years of investment banking experience, with prior FIG M&A transaction experience required
• Strong knowledge of financial institutions, particularly wealth management, asset management, and/or insurance
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills
• Demonstrated experience executing live M&A transactions
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple work streams under tight deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree required; finance, economics, or related field preferred
