Equity Linked (Convertibles) Analyst 1 – Leading Investment Bank

A leading Mid‑Tier Investment Bank is looking to add an Analyst 1 to their Equity Linked / Convertible Origination team in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the most active and high‑profile platforms in the Equity Capital Markets space, with strong deal flow and exposure across multiple sectors.

Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr

The role:

The successful candidate will be part of the Equity Linked Origination team, working closely with senior bankers to structure and execute a range of convertible bond and equity‑linked transactions. You’ll gain exposure to a diverse client base — including corporates, sponsors, and financial institutions — and play an integral role in all aspects of deal execution.

Key responsibilities:

• Support senior team members in the origination and execution of convertible and equity‑linked transactions
• Build and maintain complex financial models and valuation analyses
• Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and marketing documents
• Conduct market analysis on convertible bond trends, pricing dynamics, and investor sentiment
• Collaborate with syndicate, legal, and capital markets teams throughout the execution process
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of equity‑linked markets, structures, and investor appetite

Requirements:

• 1–2 years’ experience in Investment Banking (ECM, Corporate Finance, or related field preferred)
• Strong technical and financial modelling skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple work streams under tight deadlines
• Solid understanding of capital markets and a genuine interest in the equity‑linked product space
• Team‑oriented, driven, and proactive approach
