Ping Pong is on a mission to digitize trade, simplifying global growth for businesses. With $300B+ in payments processed, we're one of the world’s leading cross-border platforms – and we’re just getting started. Ping Pong currently has 38 offices in 18 countries and over 1,500 employees. Our international presence helps businesses solve complex payment needs in every major economy across all time zones.

Now, we're scaling and looking for a Payment Operations Analyst to support day‑to‑day payment operations, reconciliation, and transaction monitoring activities across U.S. and international payment flows.

WHAT’S THE CHALLENGE

The role focuses on operational accuracy, issue resolution, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient payment processing.

This is a hands‑on analyst role suited to someone with a strong operational mindset, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of payment processes in a fintech or financial services environment.

WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH

The role reports to the Group Head of Payments, with close day‑to‑day collaboration across Finance, Payments, Compliance, Risk, IT, and Customer Support teams.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Support daily payment operations, including monitoring, execution, and exception handling across internal and external payment flows.
  • Perform daily reconciliations using internal systems and third‑party tools; investigate and resolve breaks in a timely manner.
  • Act as a first point of contact for operational payment queries from Sales and Customer Support teams.
  • Communicate and coordinate with various partners, including domestic and international banks, third-party payment institutions, foreign exchange counterparts, and collaboration platforms, to address and resolve fund‑related issues promptly.
  • Assist with issue management related to banking partners, including account setup, online banking access, and payment connectivity (API / host‑to‑host).
  • Collaborate with Product and Business teams to assess operational feasibility of new products, payment methods, or market launches.
  • Work closely with Compliance, Risk, and IT teams on AML‑related reviews, fraud topics, regulatory reporting, and system enhancements. Identify operational risks, recurring issues, and process gaps; propose practical improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Establish SOP for daily payment operations, internal and external team collaborations to ensure work efficiency and customer experience. Contribute to documentation of procedures, controls, and operational workflows.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in payment operations, financial operations, reconciliation, or a similar role within fintech, payments, or financial services.
  • Practical understanding of payment methods, transaction flows, and operational controls.
  • Fluent in both Chinese and English (verbal and written), with strong communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration with headquarters.
  • Experience working with banking partners or payment service providers is preferred.
WHO YOU ARE
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with data, reconciliations, and operational dashboards.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
  • Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with a willingness to take ownership of issues.
  • Able to work independently in a remote or hybrid setup while remaining responsive and collaborative.
  • Comfortable operating in a growing, dynamic organization where processes continue to evolve.

Ping Pong is proud to be an equal opportunity employer with a global culture that embraces diversity.

We are committed to providing an environment free of unfair discrimination and harassment.
