Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Financial Crime
a senior-level opportunity with a rapidly growing blockchain-based prediction market platform that allows users to trade on real-world events using crypto. They are looking to hire a Deputy Chief Compliance Officer to play a key role in their regulatory and market compliance function.
This is a full-time role focused on regulatory advisory, CFTC and exchange-facing work, and complex investigations. You would serve as a strategic regulatory advisor to the business, providing guidance on CFTC, DCM, SEF, and exchange rules; overseeing regulatory responses; managing trading-related investigations; and partnering closely with the CCO on program enhancements and governance. The position is oriented toward market regulation and advisory—not AML—and offers a clear path toward future leadership within the compliance organization.
Overview- Provide expert guidance on CFTC, DCM, SEF, and exchange regulations.
- Advise business units and senior management on compliance with derivatives and trading rules.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory developments and advise on their business impact.
- Contribute to the drafting, review, and enhancement of compliance policies and procedures.
