The purpose of this role is to support the implementation of our Transactional Risk strategies by contributing to business development and growth through cultivating relationships with all key stakeholders and making informed underwriting decisions to enhance the profitability of the portfolio. Key responsibilities involve generating new business and ensuring the overall profitability of the Transactional Risk Business.
This role will require a hybrid work schedule in any of our US AmTrust Offices.

Responsibilities- Review,
- Identify and minimize risks through due diligence and escalation of issues when necessary.
- Review and analyze detailed financial statements, purchase agreements and transaction documents
- Negotiate policy terms, conditions and pricing with clients and brokers
- Stay current with market trends, emerging risks and evolving regulatory landscapes
- Mentor junior underwriters to ensure efficient team performance.
- Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to recording and measurement of insurance risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Assist with improvements in underwriting practices.
- Research and obtain market intelligence to enhance profit goals.
- Contribute to special projects and business initiatives.
evaluate and price business by applying underwriting judgment and adhering to guidelines.
- College Degree Required (Finance or Economics preferred)
- Advanced degree or professional certification (JD, MBA, CFA, CPCU) a plus
- Minimum - 3-5 years experience in: transactional risk, mergers and acquisitions or financial services risk assessment
- Strong excel and data analytics skills
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities
The expected salary range for this role is $150,200-$235,000/year.
