We are looking for a successful Associate who is a multi-tasker at heart, with strong verbal and written communication skills and a problem-solving mindset that thrives in a fast-paced and evolving organization. You will be coachable, have a willingness to learn, and perform at a high level under variable workloads. You will report to the Managing Director, Partner.
We ask that you have the willingness to work a flexible schedule and be in the office Monday – Friday between 8:30am – 5:30pm.
What You’ll Do- Provide quality service to clients and facilitate operational tasks (i.e. account opening, cash movements, check deposits, address change, beneficiary update, tuition payments, RMDs, charitable donations, etc.)
- Assist with the team’s prospect to client onboarding process by preparing paperwork and ensuring a smooth transition experience.
- Monitor upcoming life ” insurance premium schedules, reach out to clients to coordinate payment, and confirm receipt by the carrier.
- Compile tax support package for clients and accountants to include 1099s, K1s, and list of expected documents.
- Schedule client meetings, coordinate the team’s calendar, and prepare meeting presentations.
- Ensure accuracy with diligent follow-up on all client and Financial Advisor requests.
- Achieve proficiency in relevant technologies including Fidelity’s Wealthscape, Charles Schwab Advisor Services, Black Diamond performance reporting and Salesforce.
- Maintain client records and files following regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Provide phone support for multiple Financial Advisors.
- Support a variety of ad hoc projects throughout the year, including data gathering, client outreach, and operational clean ”ups.
You will have experience and attributes in the following areas:
- Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build rapport with personnel and clients
- Experience with advisor needs and delivering client-focused solutions
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 preferred, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
- One or more years of work experience, including internships involving customer service or financial analysis
- Experience in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, Power Point
- Experience providing detailed troubleshooting and resolutions to users
- Experience handling support requests from a variety of different channels and organize workflow
- Acquire a working knowledge of the portfolio of accounts
- Interpersonal, organizational and client service skills
- We do not offer relocation for this opportunity
