Capital Metrics Specialists support investment, finance, and portfolio teams by analyzing capital deployment, performance metrics, and key investment indicators. The role blends quantitative analysis, capital monitoring, and reporting to provide actionable insights into fund performance, portfolio allocation, and investment strategy.
These roles often involve collaboration with portfolio managers, investment operations, finance teams, and risk management to ensure accurate reporting, transparency, and data-driven decision-making.
Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and analyze capital deployment, liquidity, and investment metrics across portfolios and funds
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools for performance and capital insights
Assist in calculating key performance indicators (KPIs) such as IRR, MOIC, ROI, and cash flow metrics
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly capital reports for management and investor review
Validate data integrity and reconcile capital movements with portfolio accounting systems
Support scenario analysis, stress testing, and investment performance simulations
Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in capital allocation and performance metrics
Collaborate with finance, operations, and investment teams to enhance reporting processes
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
Understanding of capital markets, investment performance metrics, and portfolio management
Experience or coursework in financial analysis, capital reporting, or investment analytics (preferred but not required)
Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or VBA is a plus
