Senior Financial Advisor

Altfest Personal Wealth Management, a nationally recognized, independent, fee-only wealth management firm based in NYC, is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Advisor to lead client relationships, deliver holistic financial planning and investment advice, and contribute to the firm’s continued growth.

At Altfest, our fee-only model eliminates conflicts of interest and aligns advice with clients’ best interests. This role is ideal for an experienced advisor who shares that philosophy and thrives in a collaborative, intellectually rigorous environment.

• Serve as the primary advisor and trusted partner for existing and new clients.
• Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans encompassing investments, cash flow, tax strategy, estate planning, risk management, retirement planning and more.
• Construct and oversee customized portfolios in alignment with firm guidelines and client objectives.
• Provide proactive, clear guidance by translating complex financial concepts into actionable insights.
• Participate in firm-wide initiatives and specialize in one or more areas, such as:
• Investments: Serve on the investment committee and help oversee a segment of the investment universe.
• Financial Planning: Act as an internal subject matter expert in a planning specialty.
• Business Development: Collaborate cross-functionally to support organic growth and firm strategy.

• 7+ years of experience in wealth management with demonstrated success managing client relationships (fee-only experience strongly preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Strong commitment to fiduciary, fee-only financial planning.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to educate and build trust.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative, team-first approach.
• Uncompromising integrity and a consistently client-first mentality.
• Base salary:
  
  Starting at $145,000 (excluding potential incentives), commensurate with experience.
