Job Summary
:

RBC is a leading global bank and they are seeking an Analyst for their Equity Capital Markets desk. The Analyst will support the origination and execution of equity transactions while building market intelligence tools and drafting relevant materials.

Responsibilities
:

• Support the origination and execution of equity transactions (including IPOs, Follow-Ons, Block Trades, Convertible Bonds, etc.)

• Build and maintain market intelligence tools including ECM transaction databases, comp offering analyses, valuation benchmarks and investor demand trackers

• Draft pitchbooks, market update presentations and deal roadshow materials

• Monitor equity market conditions daily and synthesize trading dynamics, sector flows and investor sentiment into actionable client advice

• Be part of a team coordinating across Origination, Syndicate, Sales and Trading to market, price and allocate transactions

• Interface with legal, compliance and external counsel on transaction execution

• Prepare thought pieces on ECM market trends for internal and client-facing use

• Undergraduate Degree

• Sharp quantitative skills – comfort in Excel and Power Point

• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to distill complex market dynamics into a clear narrative

• Attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to manage competing deadlines
