Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Research and apply U.S. GAAP to complex accounting issues
- Assist with preparation and review of financial statements and related disclosures
- Support implementation of new accounting standards (e.g., revenue recognition, leases, stock-based compensation)
- Prepare technical accounting memos and position papers
- Support M&A transactions, including purchase accounting and carve-out financials
- Assist with quality of earnings and due diligence projects
- Prepare pro forma financial statements and transaction-related analyses
- Support IPO readiness and SEC reporting initiatives
- Assist clients with month-end close optimization and process improvement
- Evaluate internal controls and recommend enhancements
- Support system implementations and financial reporting automation initiatives
- Serve as a key day-to-day contact for clients
- Collaborate with CFOs, controllers, and finance teams
- Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines simultaneously
- 1 to 3 years of tax or audit experience in Big Four
